Susanna Kass has over 30 years of clean energy strategy and global data center operations experience. Her passion is to lead the Carbon Neutral Data Center pact to achieve their global goals to tackle Climate Change. In her role at InfraPrime℠, her aim is to accelerate the transition of clean energy infrastructure for the Data Center and ICT sector in this decade at Gigawatts scale. Her contribution at InfraPrime includes the recent European Union Eco Energy award. Prior to InfraPrime, Kass led over 2 Gigawatts of renewable power projects and data center contracts with her clients included Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Equinix, Walmart. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) program invited Kass as the Data Center Advisor tackling Climate Change, raising the ambition of Clean Energy pledge and $Billion Carbon Neutral investment, SDG goals mapping of next generation Sustainable Data Center builds. Kass was COO at eBay International, General Manager of HP APAC Data Center Operation, VP Global Data Center Operations at Sun Microsystems, EVP, Sustainability & Business Operations at Baselayer, a modular data center company with clients included Goldman Sachs, Google, Akamai, John Hopkins University, and numerous Electric Utility. Kass is a STEM mentor of over 300+ youths, an Energy Fellow at Stanford University. Kass is an academia researcher in Sustainability Design and Circular Economy, a guest lecturer at Urban Sustainability Design at School of Engineering, guest lecturer at Sustainable Data Center Design at School of Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), lecturer at Next Gen Cloud Infrastructure at SDSU, UCLA. Kass is an associate contributor at iMasons Women. Kass serves as an advisor on DCD Dynamics, EdgeVana and Net Zero Data Center Designs with her clients. She is an author of publications on Sustainability Data Center Design, Circular Economy of Data Center LifeCycle Management, Clean Energy Responsible Generation and Consumption.
