Lewis Shadle brings over 45 years of experience in Information and Communications Technology development as a successful business leader and infrastructure developer. Shadle has focused on laying the foundations for ‘greenfield’ ICT Infrastructures supporting the development and expansion of core, information-based services with national and international scope. Shadle served as a strategic advisor to the U.S. Department of Defense, US Agency for International Development, the World Bank, and the United Nations Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia, relative to socio-economic and infrastructure development projects as well as providing strategic consultation, mentoring and capacity development to the governments of Iraq, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, and India. In addition, Shadle served as a member of the Mission Assurance & Critical Infrastructure Protection Program Team to the Defense Information Systems Agency assessing critical infrastructure risks to global undersea cable systems
Shadle has extensive experience in the development of campus size, meta scale data center infrastructure in the US, India, China, and Eastern Europe. Currently, Lew is spearheading the foundation of startup, Virginia Beach DigiPorts and working closely in site design, lease negotiation and securing real estate permits and regulatory approvals in the development of to a 226-acre data center park in Virginia Beach, Virginia in close collaboration with the City of Virginia Beach and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Drawing on this experience and backed by a 45-year career as an infrastructure developer. Shadle was an advisor and now works with InfraPrime as Head of Virginia Beach site infrastructure.
